In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top five Travel and Local apps on the Android platform in Latin America exhibited notable trends in downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Airbnb saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 146K at the end of September and peaking at around 244K in mid-November. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, growing from 1.2M in late September to over 1.6M by the end of December.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with a notable peak of 181K in the last week of December. The app's weekly active users rose from 2.2M at the beginning of the quarter to over 3M by the end of December.

Find my Phone - Family Locator experienced varied download trends, starting strong with 192K downloads in late September but seeing a decline mid-quarter before rebounding to 87K in the final week of December. Weekly revenue was relatively stable, averaging around $14K to $18K. Active users fluctuated, reaching a high of 215K in early October and closing the quarter at 126K.

Google Earth had consistent download numbers, ranging from 86K to 109K throughout the quarter. Active users remained steady, with a slight increase from 770K in late September to 745K by the end of December.
